Follow, Share & Win and Refer a Friend · a $500 travel credit in each draw

No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning.

Vacations For Heroes runs two yearly draws, each for a $500 CAD travel credit: Follow, Share & Win and Refer a Friend. Sections 1 to 3 explain how to enter each one. The terms in sections 4 to 12 apply to both.

  1. Sponsor. Both draws (each a "Draw") are run by CM Travel Ltd., operating Vacations For Heroes and Cherished Moments Travel, 36-5700 Jinkerson Road, Chilliwack, BC (the "Sponsor"). Each Draw runs from January 1 to December 31 of a calendar year (the "Draw Period"). The first Draw Period runs from the date these rules are posted to December 31, 2026.
  2. Follow, Share & Win: how to enter.
    1. Follow @vacationsforheroes on Facebook or Instagram: one entry for each account you follow, up to two.
    2. Comment on a Vacations For Heroes post on Facebook or Instagram: one extra entry per post you comment on.
    3. Share your trip photos, either way, one entry for each trip:
      • post a photo from a trip booked with us on Instagram, tagging @vacationsforheroes and using #HeroesOnHoliday (your account must be public for us to see it), or
      • add photos on your client trip page and tick "OK to share".
      You must have taken the photos yourself, and only tag people who are in them. By entering a photo you allow the Sponsor to repost it on its social media and website, crediting you.
    4. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram (Meta). Entrants release Meta from all liability related to it.
  3. Refer a Friend: how to enter.
    1. Clients of the Sponsor can share their personal referral link from their client trip page. You earn one entry for each friend who submits the referral form through your link during the Draw Period, agrees to be contacted, and is not already a client or a lead of the Sponsor.
    2. Each referred friend counts once, for one entrant. Self-referrals and duplicate or fictitious referrals do not count. There is no limit on referral entries.
  4. No-purchase entry (both draws). Email info@vacationsforheroes.com with the subject "Follow, Share & Win" or "Refer a Friend", your full name, phone number and a short note on a trip you would love to take. Limit one emailed entry per person, per Draw, per Draw Period.
  5. Who can enter. Open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. Refer a Friend is open to people who are or have been clients of the Sponsor. Employees and agents of the Sponsor are not eligible. Their family members may enter.
  6. Prizes. One prize is available in each Draw, each Draw Period: a $500 CAD travel credit toward a new booking made with the Sponsor (approximate retail value $500 CAD). The credit must be used within 12 months of the draw date, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be transferred, and will not be replaced if lost or unused. One person can win both Draws in the same year.
  7. The draws. On or about December 20 of each year, at the Sponsor's office, one eligible entry will be selected at random for each Draw from all eligible entries received for that Draw during the Draw Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  8. Claiming a prize. The selected entrant will be contacted by email, phone or social media message within 5 business days. To be declared the winner, they must:
    • correctly answer, without help, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question
    • sign a declaration and release confirming eligibility and compliance with these rules
    If the entrant cannot be reached within 10 business days, fails to answer correctly or does not return the release, another entry may be drawn.
  9. Publicity. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that the Sponsor may announce their first name, last initial and home city, including on social media, unless they ask us not to.
  10. Privacy. Personal information is used only to run the Draws and to contact referred friends who agreed to be contacted, as set out in the Sponsor's privacy policy.
  11. General. The Sponsor may cancel, change or suspend a Draw if it cannot run as planned, with notice on this page. Decisions of the Sponsor are final on all matters related to the Draws. These rules are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada.
