"I am a member of the RCMP and was posted to Sudan in 2009. As all of our contingent soon found out, conducting financial transactions in this part of the world proved very difficult. Credit and bank cards are not excepted and Internet connections are difficult at the best of times. Even more difficult is making travel arrangements. Most reservations had to be made in person and with cash. Luckily for me another member, posted with me, suggested “Vacations for Hero’s” out of British Columbia. I found their travel knowledge broad and their access extensive. I was able to plan, book and pay for my trips out of Sudan with security and confidence. Because of this experience I will use Vacations for Heroes exclusively for all my travel needs."
